Paul, Jesus' Body, the food of Righteousness
Question: What is the underlined message between Acts of Apostle Chapter 10:13-15 and Leviticus Chapter 11?
The relationship between the “permitted food”; and the “permitted contact”; is that the former is for what the Jews call “Kosher”, which gave permitted approval from Almighty God re. spiritual “rightness/righteousness”.
The latter in Acts, was God’s notification that a major change had taken place; and that what the Jews considered “Kosher” (i.e. ok to eat) had changed!
However, the Jews had so miss-interpreted the original “food regulations”, that the "sacrosanct" was developed from them; when Almighty God wanted them to see Him in “Spirit and in Truth”; which was/is embodied in Christ Jesus Messiah!
The Apostle Paul was active shortly after the death and Resurrection of Jesus, in very actively persecuting the Christians, which was stopped by the Risen Lord with a direct intervention with Paul! Paul was then redirected by Jesus to "the Jews" (first); because he was able to easily explain what had happened to them; and that Jesus was the solution to their sinning and cleansing from their rebellion towards God, which had been since their vows in Deuteronomy 27; and which is summarised in Malachi!
Paul took the Message of Salvation to all the Synagogues, including at Rome; and when the final one in Acts 28:25–28 rejected Jesus; Paul (by the Lord's instruction) enacted the prophecy of Isa.6:9–10! That put the Jews into a state of Lo-Ammi, which will remain their condition until the events of Zech. 12:10.
Paul in the same statement of Acts 28, was also directed to the Gentiles of the world to proclaim the Good News, which he did faithfully for the remainder of his life, and was followed by the Apostles.
That condition is still in place, and according to Romans 11:25–27 will remain so, until the total number of the Gentiles is complete!
Also in Romans 9:24–33, is described the re-adoption of the Jews by God, to “My People”; and His joyful Saving of them to His Kingdom, Ezek. 39:21–29!
So you see, the joyful understanding of the food; and the Body of Christ Jesus; which will be effective in the future for Almighty God and the World!; is secured by FAITH in God (Christ Jesus) (Habakkuk 2:4)!
